Welcome to the “People of GameStop Blog”. This is the place where we post pictures taken at any local GameStop, Best Buy, Toys R’ US, Wal Mart (etc.) that include individuals that seem to live solely to add to the general stereotype/stigma that is attached to the word “Gamer”. Considering these people are being used as our flagship peers by such media outlets as FOX NEWS, we figured they MUST be important.
So now we will be posting the latest and “greatest” images of the wacky subculterous (made that word up) underworld that is video game retail. BUT THAT’s NOT THE BEST PART! YOU too can contribute with your own submissions by using the “P.O.G. Blog Uploader” widget located on the right side of the page under your user control panel.
**You MUST be a member of GameGamePOW to upload images**
Currently we are considering the BEST submissions for PAX prizes. The rules are as follows:
HOW TO WIN:
1) Sign up for GameGamePOW.com (it’s FREE)
2) Use the “P.O.G. Blog Image Uploader” to upload a picture YOU took at a local Video Game Retailer. This image must a reasonably clear shot of the person you believe is helping extend the terrible stigma of being a “Gamer”. Write a short description of the image and who/what you saw.
3) Make sure your upload works. It will tell you if it does.
4) Wait for us to announce the winners (NO date currently set)
